i think i need to turn off breaking news notifs from my (british!!) news apps, possibly for the next 4 years 💀 i don’t want to feel like i need to be outraged about every single thing that happens in the US for yet ANOTHER presidential reign

@pippa I'm so over it. The next couple of months is going to be all performative bullshit that will hurt everyone and help no-one.

The press is clearly not going to provide any analysis worth a damn, just "news alerts". It's useless.

If someone dynamites the sewage plant, I don't need real-time tracking on every single turd.
