@EllenInEdmonton I stayed offline a lot, but it was fine. I have some good books etc, and feel like I accomplished stuff! Kdrama is a great mood lifter.

@mtechman I've been spending the day fixing my wife's tire which was low on air, investigating options to host my blog, making ravioli and receiving the adoration of my formerly feral cat cohabitant. I call today a win.

@mtechman I've been blogging for years at https://brainwagon.org using Wordpress, but I'm sick of it (I've written a couple of posts recently about it). My plan is to move to using hugo. I'll let you know what that's like when I have it working.

@mtechman I feel like that's one of the best lessons of working with plants & animals - embracing that you can do what you can do, but what you can't realistically do is dictate to them precisely what they'll do.

You can try, but ultimately there's another life there and nurturing it in the direction you want is the best you can do.

Perfection in a garden is a process - even the most formal & manicured are going to live & change & need regular maintenance. My perfect garden embraces it's own renewal :)
