It’s been threatening to rain. To really force the issue I put on a load of towels last night, delayed start until today.

Universe seems to have got the message and has sprinkled us with enough to make the grass sticky. Let’s see if it keeps up.

Yes, it is raining.

There's also a lot of wind.

Sensor has currently recorded 0mm but I reckon it's over 1mm by now.

Wondering if I should climb up a ladder in the 25km/h gusts to inspect it. Might have a leaf blocking it. Or maybe this model doesn't handle high wind + light rain. Or maybe it's sheltered by the nearby trees which may have donated a leaf.

Third option: stay dry inside.

I compared my results against the neighbours by using the wunderground wuether wmap.

I am getting ".08" rains, another neighbour has ".03", ".05" and ".00" (definite cleaning needed there).

Can't figure out what ".08" means. It's not inches -- that was my first thought. Maybe they had accidentally converted millimetres to degrees Fartenheit?

Is it furlongs of rain? Current accumulated rain today is 0.79mm (off by x10), and hourly rate is 1.8mm.
