Likely gonna be more active here again, after crashing in terms of social media usage (outside of Reddit) in general for a while.

Looking at the current direction of "social" media, I honestly just don't want to support a service like X or Facebook/Instagram with my activity or presence and i feel like Mastodon - especially looking at the path that @Gargron is following - is my best option when it comes to finding new people to interact with (and cat pictures!).
