None of my recent posts on @pixelfed have shown up in the #fediverse yet, which is odd. Is this a known issue for other folks or some mistake I'm making?

@pixelfed other issues I'm having on Pixelfed lately: people can't find me via search, some of my posts aren't searchable either.
You can see @DocPop@pixelfed.social, the federated version of my Pixelfed feed, on Mastodon. It shows a reply from a few days ago, and some posts I recently re-tooted, but neither of my two recent posts.

@docpop@mastodon.social @pixelfed @DocPop@pixelfed.social With federated networks, search across instances depends a great deal on the federation status of those instances. If people can't search your posts, it may be due to how their instance is federated to yours.

@lrhodes Mastodon.social and Pixelfed.social should be federating together, I can see some of my posts, but not all of them. It feels like they got added to Pixelfed.social's server, but didn't properly federate with any other servers. But I might be wrong on that. I can't even find some of my posts when I search from the pixelfed app, which should be like searching on my own server.

@docpop Then it may just be the pixelfed server struggling to keep up. It picked up a ton of new accounts from the Threads exodus, and I'm sure it got even more from the TikTok mini-ban. It may be getting yet more as people ditch X in disgust today.

@mntyfrsh I've never seen a reply from Dan on Mastodon or to any of the bug reports I've filled on Mastodon while I was beta testing his apps, so I've learned not to try reaching him about bugs and issues like this. Ahem https://github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed-rn/discussions/120
