@FreeCAD project complete! The camera housing was easy enough, but the mounting bracket was a real challenge. I used a spreadsheet to specify the tilt and pan angles of the bracket. Getting it to update everything without errors as I adjusted these angles took some thinking in how to design it. The assembly workbench again proved very buggy. In the end I avoided multiple cylindrical joints and aligned as much as I could using adjacent faces, which the solver appears to cope with better.

@FreeCAD The bracket prints without the need for supports. It is not symmetrical. This one has a tilt angle of 46 degrees and a pan angle of 2 degrees to the left.
