Turns out I can in fact bike in 0 degrees, but a.) there's a 2-mile limit for my fingers in these gloves, and b.) the derailleur cable might seize up in the cold.

@aphyr If it gets too cold I find I need mittens on a bike so my fingers don't freeze off

@Purplebiker Yeah, I got lobster gloves that help a lot, but for me they're only good down to around 15 degrees. Been thinking about adding the handlebar wrapper things too.

@aphyr @Purplebiker oh man I love my Bar Mitts! They look a little dorky but I can ride in super cold weather, even without gloves. They're a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it.

@otfrom @James @aphyr @Purplebiker It's my sweaty hands that get me after 2 miles. Any of you experienced with those?

@aphyr @Purplebiker bar mitts are unreasonably effective.

Other than that, hydraulic lines and disc brakes are gonna be nice to have

I have little neoprene toe covers that slip over socks and keep the wind going through my shoes from being as chilling, too
