It's not a full pardon, and it comes years too late, but President Biden, in one of his last official acts, has granted clemency to Leonard Peltier. The remainder of his sentence will be home confinement.

This is a moment to celebrate, but it sure does seem like the least that could be done and at the last minute.

@ErisCaffee that's been Biden's m.o. this whole time. Do the absolute minimum necessary to render the statement "Biden did nothing on this issue" technically false.

@ErisCaffee It is the very least he could do, and with "Justice delayed is justice denied" timing.

But it is more than 10 or 12 presidents preceding Biden have done.
