Once our Marty achieved “down,” there was no stopping him. From that moment on, he was set to explore every surface in the rat room. He was neophile, somehow knew he was safe in his surroundings.

Here’s him looking out the window, perching on the rim of rat laundry bin, sniffing the early morning air.

@otterX My guys love to get on the couch and climb up to the window to sniff around.

But the hardwood floor is cold and there's no place to sneak or hide. It's decidedly un-ratty.
