• For reasons*, I am cooking a big roast dinner for some friends who are coming around later & it's sending my need for control into overdrive. They're cool, they won't care if it takes a bit longer than estimated or everything isn't perfect, but that doesn't matter. Everything needs to be done a particular way, in a particular order & there's this background low level stress over it.

The worst aspect is I won't let my OH help because he won't do it right according to some bit of my brain. 🙄
