It snowed again last night, and is cold af this morning. But the morning sun keeps peeking out between mixed clouds throwing long lines of golden sparkles between the tree shadows.

@vlrny Same here. It is deceptively sunny outside, with almost cloudless blue sky. It looks warm.

It's not.

Finished breakfast, put on a fresh pot of caffeine juice. The MLK Day clean-up event seems canceled (no details on time and meeting place were received), but even so it's too cold for outdoor work.

At some point I will need to shovel, but it can wait a bit.

@vlrny Signed a bunch of petitions today, mostly environmental, but a few others. You'll see some of them (if the organization made it easy to share) over the next few days; I usually share petitions at 11:15 am EST on weekdays. And I'm not done.

Also cleaned out some e-mails with outdated campaigns, only asking for donations, events that already happened, etc.

All while lounging on the couch in flannel PJs, with vanilla coffee... a pretty good day.
