If I were creating desktop software and really needed a #FOSS source for PNG icons where would I go?

@hth Do you mean existing icons or tailor made? I know the @gnome community has a number of artists who create the icons for their apps. Other than that, the largest collection of open source icons that I know is the #Papirus icon theme.

@fell @gnome I'm just looking for a pre-existing source of icons that are available under a foss licence, since search has completely failed me.
