I have this problem with a lot of old "widescreen" DVDs. Before the "anamorphic" standard came out, many were letterboxed. Now they just look unnecessarily tiny on the screen.

@TerryHancock Yeah, annoying that DVD exclusively supported 16:9 in the metadata, so for Cinemascope and such they had to do hard letterboxing within the 16:9 frame
