Hrff.
This is the first time that I can not find something since moving house. I kept assuming it would turn up. But it did not. I find it very hard to believe it has been taken or somehow just never made it. Therefore it is here, somewhere, probably. I also (unhelpfully) cannot recall if I've seen it since moving.
It's my aviation headset. I literally have not needed it until (maybe) now.
The problem is it is precious enough I might have done something "special" with it. Sigh.

Meanwhile I “pimped out” my spare set with new nice ear cups, a new headband, and a new mic foam. So now I have my primo headset and a less shitty second headset.

@bloor it's in the shoe box under your bed. no, the other one. Go look.

@bloor I only recently discovered that the ear cups/foam can be replaced cheaply and easily so my favourite headset (the one that fits the best) is now like new.

@luke @bloor same! Bf was about to throw out a very tatty set of Bose QC35iis. I had a quick search expecting maybe some OEM or at least knock-off ones available in China… nope, there’s a huge aftermarket manufacture scene for just about every make and model. Awesome. £15 and they’re good as new.
