think im going to make a special page on my site with just the basics / things ive learned while using #bespokeSynth as my only music creation tool for the past year and a bit. ive had a page on my site for a while¹, but it has been a stub for ages that isnt something i find useful to check or update

if you've ever used bespoke what are things you wished you knew when starting or questions you havent answered for yourself on how to do certain things? id love to hear what other people's experience with it has been like

ive wanted to make major notes that have their own css and formatting rules and i think this will be a good one to use as a guinea pig

I have so many questions as someone who's just starting out (and also a music/synth noob)

• How the heck do I make different "parts" of a song? So far I've been using LFOs with a square wave to do this, and I know there's the song-builder-thing but I don't see it used much in most of the videos online.

• Why can't I make the circle instrument do anything? I piped it into an oscillator and it just hiccups instead of playing notes... What do I pipe it through? it looks cool and I want to use it

• What's a good way to turn a sample into an instrument? I got something working by converting pitch to speed but IDK of that's "the way"

• Why does the sound sometimes turn to garbage for ~20 seconds? (may be my linux setup)

• What's the process of making a song like? I know what to do in a DAW, but this feels a lot more "alive" and loop oriented.

• I'd love some resources for how to make some specific common sounds with the fm / oscillator synths. Recipes, I guess!
