Sometimes I blunder into a clutch checkmate at the end of a game I've been losing the whole time somehow though?

I was playing black against stockfish level 1 (am newb) and the bot evaluation graph had me losing badly until the very end. And I only had 4 seconds of the 10 minute timer left while stockfish had almost 7 minutes lol. I didn't even realize this was check when I played it.

Also castling is so friggin weird in chess 960 (which I'd rather play just because I can think of few things less appealing than learning a bunch of pre-planned openings).

@megmac One of the many reasons I switched to Go. For some reason my brain and chess just don't work well together but Go just clicked.

@brettk lol Go is nearly incomprehensible to me. The fact that at some point people just go "ok the game is over and you won" and I can't tell why is very ⁉️
