Anyone else getting spam newsletter signups on their #Ghost instances? Seeing it on a couple of mine

Follow up: There was indeed an uptick in spam signups on all #Ghost instances. However the Ghost team were quick to implement a solution for everyone to use https://forum.ghost.org/t/ghost-sign-up-and-spam/54583/9

What's extra cool is that @jannisfedorukbetschki over at Magic Pages added a whole feature around it so you can fine tune the email domain blocklist https://www.magicpages.co/roadmap/block-unwanted-email-signups-with-domain-filtering/

@DavidDarnes honestly, when I implemented it, I didn't know the impact this had. None of my own instances were affected, and none of my customers reached out about it.

I only saw what happened after the feature was live 🙃

I basically saw the release notes and thought "that's a cool feature, but pretty useless for people on managed hosts". That's how I ended up adding this option within an hour, so I could roll it out with v5.107.1 😅

@jannisfedorukbetschki ha wow! My instance on Magic Pages got hit, as well as another on Ghost(Pro). However I wasn't sure where best to report/resolve it, maybe I should've been worried about it? Love to see the speedy updates!
