I know this hasn't always been true, but I really feel that this time round, old #fediverse hands are being friendly and helpful when welcoming newcomers who have been cast adrift from their old platforms. I don't see as much of the snark and hostility that I remember from earlier migrations.

@lukemartell Ideally I will one day have a comprehensive 'library' pointing to all the good things about the internet, but I'm not there yet. But I think I might be able to start a roundup of all the good things about blogging next.
