You're not supposed to wear a beard with an mask, but how bad is it if you do? With my rough DIY test setup on a P100, I got 80% filtration with a long beard, 92% with a short one, and 99.7% with stubble. https://www.jefftk.com/p/beards-and-masks

@jefftk that's really useful, especially the stubble result. Biking to work in the cold, even a little bit of stubble does a lot to reduce heat loss, so knowing that stubble is not a mask-leak issue is good (especially for next week's predicted temperatures -- which reminds me to try sewing a no-filter cloth mask with "nostrils" away from my glasses. Plain masks in the cold load up with condensate and become very good at stopping both particulates and air in general.
