13yo walked to the donut shop this morning to have some tea and study kanji.

I met him on the way back while walking the dog.

13yo: I had a delicious breakfast taco.

Me: Excellent.

13yo: And I bought a maple donut for $BROTHER.

Me: That was nice of you.
