Been tough going trying to get some stability as I build to fourth level, if it's not all green then you have problems, I'm getting there, just very slow, destruct, fix, rebuild, repeat, I don't think I will try for five levels, four is enough, and with stairs outside main structure and no real need to have much else in the building should be plenty of space, the old portal building basically would fit in 1/4 of this one to give you some idea of the size of it.

Yeah yellow is a form of green right, I think that's the best I will get,

Even the main structure walls are yellow, that tells me I have limited space to build upwards.

I did give iron wood (I thought it was iron pine - that would have worked) a go, completely & utterly useless, even at low levels, I would place a build item, already red, weak as.

@trelord75 take a closer look at the ironwood pieces. They should be green/blue if affixed to red stone, and wood/corewood should be green/blue if affixed to ironwood.

@dgar That may be the case but they can't actually be used to stabilize a structure like pine can.

Those log pieces generally form the base structure from which I then build from, a model if you will of the stone which I then place.

@dgar

Also given that iron is a limited resource in comparison to pine, it's just not logical to waste it on building when you can use something else.

@trelord75

If you need a column corewood will raise vertically to 25m. Ironwood can get to 50m, so if you’re having issues with a roof peak, some ironwood might help sort it. I used horizontal ironwood for long beams over the Sky Harbour Boathouse.
