Hi fellow #linux crowd people humans.

I need some suggestions for a current linux distribution that runs from a usb-stick (used to be called live linux)

All my go-to options are outdated or apparently unmaintained.

Whats your favourite to just plug into sone pc and use?

(Gui is neccessary, need to be able to install software and would be nice to retain data/settings)
