Today I setup a #Peertube instance to learn more about it, particularly to try live streaming from a mobile app. It works great. Can someone with an opinion help me understand situations where it might be better to live cast in #Owncast instead Peertube, and vice versa?

Owncast has a more developed chat system, it's a lot more Twitch-like.

PeerTube is better for hosting multiple users on a single instance and can play VODs.

(Many people use both, for example OwnCast for chat and PeerTube for VOD.)
