I talked with a few classes of grade school students via Skype A Scientist today.
I got asked about interstellar objects.
I was pleased to be able to tell the students that @VRubinObs will soon be finding more of them.

Neither I nor the teachers appreciated their being compelled by their school board to evaluate my presentation for "controversial issues" that "arouse strong reactions based on personal conviction or allegiance to a group" before I can about astronomy.
Do not allow things like this from your school board & state government, United States.

I once had someone object to my giving a talk to a group of students because I was going to talk about the K-Pg impact.

@sundogplanets Way too many school boards have imposed such policies on US schools the last few years.
They have been pushed by the "Moms For Liberty" hate group, among others.
Fortunately; they have all been blocked here in Minnesota. But Skype A Scientist gets requests from all over.
