@fell @lane_ass_jenna @lane_jenna Pixelfed does have different & additional functionality though, with more coming... Mastodon is great, but it's a slow moving beast that will probably never be fully compatible with some of Pixelfed's features.

@fell @rasterweb @lane_jenna Thank you for this, it's helpful since I'm still learning. So, one of my friends pointed out that there is now a second additional Jenna Lane account on Mastodon they were able to find. I think that's because, while I used my Mastodon account to create my pixelfed profile, I had to change my user name (two underscores is a no-no on Pixelfed).

I have considered changing my name on Mastodon to accommodate it. Jury is still in session.

@lane_ass_jenna @rasterweb @lane_jenna It's common for people on the Fediverse to have multiple accounts. Sometimes I see people mark their main account with an emoji in the name or with a remark in the bio of the other accounts. It's up to you, really.
