Wenig überraschend dreht der proprietäre 3D-Drucker-Hersteller #BambuLab den Open-Source-Zugang zu seinen Geräten ab. Mit kommenden Firmware-Versionen ist eine Nutzung nur noch mit der Herstellersoftware möglich. Tools wie #OrcaSlicer oder #HomeAssistant können die Drucker dann nicht mehr ansteuern.

@codingcatgirl Fairerweise ist die Hardware für den Preis tatsächlich unschlagbar. Wenn es halt mal eine offene Firmware für gäbe.
