And, scene!
I think the example project for my #Django package, django-pint-field, may have achieved a record for most overproduced demo for what is really a very utilitarian package - it allows you to use Pint to convert & store quantities in your django projects.
This was super fun, but took way more time than I intended to spend 😆
Please try it out and let me know what you think! Here are the directions to get started:

"So, what did you achieve in 2025?"
Well, I spent over 100 hours building something nobody asked for and that wasn't particularly needed, because I couldn't get a silly idea out of my head. yeah... 😅
(My hyperfocus is incredibly strong when there are other things in life that I am avoiding)

@jack I'm following the instructions in the docs, and going to the main application throws a NoReverseMatch error:
django.urls.exceptions.NoReverseMatch: Reverse for 'login' not found. 'login' is not a valid view function or pattern name.

@_chrismay Thanks, Chris. I'll fix that 😬

@_chrismay Corrected. I had originally planned to add a login/logout, but adding a User model etc, etc seemed like it was taking this little side project into absurd territory. Removed the offending login link to a view that was never created, and now no login should be required anywhere but admin.
