I just love when a coffee shop serves your espresso with a sidecar of sparkling water. (This is at Bolt location in downtown Providence. A nice bit of crema, too.)

@shriramk for real tho, if you hadn't tried Italian soda with an espresso shot it's quite delicious. My favorite here in Thailand is bubbly yuzu soda with an espresso shot which is quite trendy these days though still no match for an espresso + freshly squeezed orange juice with a pinch of msg and salt

@wraptile Huh. I'm not really a soda drinker any more; selzer is my usual limit. But all this stuff sounds amazing. At the very least I'm going to try your dump technique (shielding what I'm doing carefully so I'm not banned from the cafe) and give that a, uh, shot.
