I'm stuck with #b3d #greasePencil #blender in 4.3.1
I really just want to slap some bendy bones on a grease pencil Object I imported from an SVG file.
Now I wonder if it's me not understanding some hidden mechanic, or if I encountered a really big bug in 4.3.1

Well that's annoying. In a new #greasePencil Object the parenting works as expected.

Merging the #greasePencil objects together keeps the new strokes intact.
But then merging both GP layers together breaks the weight painting.
