@espoleto It depends on your use case. ProtonMail wasn't my default email; I only created an account as an emergency backup address, ironically switching away from Gmail.

I’ve got to look for another option as well, but it’s important to me that the service is EU-based, like Tutanota or Mailfence, and therefore complies with GDPR.
