My girl cat is 4 years old but still likes to chase her tail. She just got so enthusiastic she actually bit it - hard! Then she screeched and ran out the room. Her brother thought something had attacked her and followed her to help. She assumed he'd bitten her tail, and fled even faster.

This is not the first time she's bitten her own tail. It's also not the first time she's blamed something random on her brother (he is actually completely innocent every time - he adores her and lets her push him around). I've had a lot of cats in my life, but these two are certainly the dumbest.

@TomF Tigger liked to chase his tail will into his late teens. Though it was more that he would grab at it while lying down. A fairly amusing old-man-ism.
