I almost did the “bid $2710 instead of $27.10” thing again! Maybe I should just stop trying to snipe by bidding amounts other than even dollars.

I do the "bid £4.56 (or whatever)" thing to make the price+postage a round number, so I'm surprised how rarely this has happened to me. Maybe the need for a round number is acting as a good checksum? Not flawless though...
