I probably noticed this before, but @IceCubesApp seems to handle Glitch formatting better than @tootapp. (I checked @ivory just in case, but it didn’t handle the formatting either.) I might have to try ice cubes for a bit. Maybe their filter support is more consistent now.

Playing #Metroid Fusion for the first time and really liking it so far, especially visually.

I'm realizing that whereas Castlevania went from PS1 to GBA so there was a major loss of visual and music quality, 2D Metroid went from SNES to GBA so it's pretty on par. It feels like another Super Metroid! (And the jump physics have been less crap so far!)

Alright in 8 I found that I can't see how to install browser extensions in the built-in Web, and when I install Firefox I afterward get an error installing "Runtime Updates". I'm sure there's a way around it, but I think this means #mint is a more natural fit for me for right now.

2012 Mac mini arrived—I chose that year because it still had swappable RAM, so I could move my maxed 16 GB over from my dead mini. Surprisingly #elementaryOS 7.1 wouldn’t install at all; trying to decide if I play with 8 or just go with #mint.

On the flip side, I just played the opening of Shadow of War when Shelob is like “I want that Ring of Power” and I JUST read the part in LotR where it was like “Shelob didn’t care about rings of power.”

I did succeed at replacing the PRAM battery in the Mac mini, but sadly that didn't fix it not booting. I guess it's a parts machine now. Time to buy a new one!
