Three days in London until I saw police on a bike.
Two days in Ghent until I saw police on a bike.
Eight years in Copenhagen I haven't seen police on a bike. On horse, yes. Driving with a car in a pedestrian zone, yes, but never ever on a bike.

@leonidas I think I saw a cop on a bicycle about once in Aarhus all my life. It was during final day of school celebration so a lot of kids dressed up as whatever. The guy was riding his bicycle on the same narrow sidewalk as I was walking when he asked me to move over. I legit thought he was one of the kids.

@reynir Isn't riding on a sidewalk illegal in Aarhus?

@ahfrom @reynir I know, but in my opinion it generally sets a bad example if the police flaunts that they are above the law without any need for doing so.
Police chase? Sure, drive over red. Urgent trip to get donuts? Not so much.
