Good morning you lovely lot 💕 I am playing Upstairs Ninja again today as Grant and the parrots snooze downstairs. I heard a bit of squawking earlier, but Grant must be getting the hang of making sure Ziggy gets her meds mix quickly as I soon heard a cheerful "Good!" 🙂

I'm a little achy this morning, probably from having to walk from the hospital overflow car park yesterday and then my inglorious slide down a hill on the way back that left me covered in mud from head to toe and my dignity in tatters 😂 I used to roll down hills just for fun when I was younger, but I thought my Jill days were behind me 😉

A strange work day today as my laptop is being reinstalled later remotely. We were taken over my another company a year or so ago and this month we're formally moving over. Hopefully, it all goes according to plan!

Hope you feel better soon. Nasty thing a slip and slide, especially as one gets older (not saying you're old! But it makes you feel old).

As IT support, I can almost guarantee it won't work properly. It's the golden rule of IT, if you do it remotely, it will go wrong. 😂

@DodoTheDev Thank you 😊, and yes, I am not holding my breath. I read the instructions to get started so I'm ready for later, and the first one says "Install from Software Centre" My Software Centre doesn't have said app. It actually isn't showing any apps at all 😂 I'll wait and see what IT says in a bit, but I'm pretty sure this won't be smooth going"

Lol, yeah, that sounds right. Is your laptop on Windows 11, at least? Otherwise it'll be all change again before the end of the year. That's our big project this year, as we have till December or get fined by Microsoft. 🙄

@DodoTheDev Windows 10 unfortunately, so yeah, it will all need to be done again. These laptops are pretty old too - it would have seriously been much cheaper in terms of lost man hours just getting everyone new kit 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wow, and I thought we were being slow! Good luck with that!

Ironically, I'm in the process of binning about 2 dozen laptops because their too old or broken for windows 11, but perfectly usable otherwise .we could sell them to schools or charity, or heck for recycling, but nope, too.muxh hassle, we'll just send it to landfill 😡
