Roku now offers "Live Channels", such as a Classic Dr. Who channel and a Red Green channel.

I's fun, but you can't pause the live channels. I realized that I haven't watched TV that doesn't offer pause for years! I had a TiVO back around 2003 that I modded with a "huge" (maybe 20gb?) hard drive, so I had plenty of TV to watch, and live TV could be paused as you watched.

Watching TV you can't pause and skip is so weird!

@serge I'm kind of used to it because I use Pluto fairly often (which now offers watch on demand as well, which can be paused) and I actually kind of like having the same television experience I used to have when I was a kid. Not that I would want to have only that, but there's something soothing about for me in just watching what's on and letting it flow.
