@wendinoakland @Littlebobbytables there was a fix suggested over a year ago but no work on it that I can see.

It's too late now. "You can't have your common name" is an early and hard stoppage for many users

Add in that seemingly trivial decisions X yrs ago, using 15 max, can also snowball as the rest of the architecture is built up and now changing it is decidedly non-trivial.

With a small user base and even fewer testers than devs, it just sits waiting to surface during the wide world debut. Wheeeeee
