@kellyromanych I think as long as Meta is stating a committment to activity pub, there's going to be a focus on being in dialog with them, trying to steer them in the right direction. That's the spirit that piece was written in.

@sebastian @ethanz @kellyromanych Yes, "trying to steer them in the right direction" sounds horribly like people saying they're going to keep using Facebook to "change it from the inside".
I'm not worried about Meta committing to ActivityPub. I'm worried about them committing to fascism. Continuing to work with them as though that isn't happening seems concerning.
