This might be a #pottery trick everyone already knows, but yesterday I didn't have time to trim these cups before they went too hard. Last night I dampened some sponges and sat them on the base of the cups and left them overnight.
In the morning the bottoms were back to leather-hard, ready for trimming. Worked really well!

@tj Heh... I have bone-dry pots that didn't get trimmed and I've wondered if I could put them in a damp box for a month and restore them to leather hard. But they were just practice, so they'll go into the reclaim bucket.
