The Donkey Kong Country Returns Switch Port apparently can't even hold 60 fps (ON A WII GAME!!!)
What a ripoff, nu-Nintendo is an absolute joke

@EmoIsDeadAndSoAmI I have such nostalgia for Mario, Pikmin, Punch-Out, but especially Zelda.
But I literally cried when I got the Master Sword in Breath and the frameskip/stuttering was so bad. I didn't bother to buy Tears.
A stable 60fps should be the bare minimum for a first party title in this day and age.
My heart sinks at the thought of the next Switch also being a stutter factory of old chips.

@afreytes to be fair BotW got patched to a stable 30fps later.
But yeah Nintendo used to mean weak hardware but at least first party software puts it to use to the fullest. Now you got weak hardware and a publisher that doesn't care about upholding minimum quality standards anymore
