Ugh I love this on so many levels. It's more affordable! It's magnetic! It's easily portable! I love this kind of innovation that makes spinning more accessible.

I like the idea of spinning. I've never tried it before, but this looks super cool. I suspect when I go to the yarn show this weekend, I'll leave with a couple of spindles and tops to try my hand at it. If that goes well, I may well back this. It's done so well!

Another thing I may try (maybe later this year) is natural dyeing.

@DodoTheDev @scarfwitch Spinning is a great way to 1) increase hobby time (if you also spin the yarn to make a sweater, you've basically extended the time spent enjoyably making that sweater by at least double!) and 2) increase the amount of yarn you have around that you just don't know what to do with..... (er, that second one might not be as big of a draw for some folks.) Fortunately, "a basket of handspun yarn" is a perfectly cromulent home decor.

I want to have more yarn on show, but I need somewhere to put it first. Currently, my TV sits on an old coffee table which is too small, so my aim this year is to find a TV cabinet/console that can hold it properly and display my yarn and Lego models I want to get.

@DodoTheDev spinning is so fun!! If they have Turkish spindles I do highly recommend them because at the end you have a beautiful center pull ball, no extra winding needed. Plus they're pretty 😍

I have done yarn dyeing but not natural dyeing, that is also on my list!
