Is it me, or the Sketcher in #FreeCAD 1.0 has become way slower? So much that sometimes it's almost unbearable even on capable machines (a Ryzen 3700X in this case). For example, in my last #Gridfinity holder, while editing the sketch with the tool silhouette, trying to move point in the sketch, caused a several second (more than 5) freeze just in the Sketcher. And I have seen this in more designs. The FreeCAD file can be downloaded in here if someone wants to poke: https://www.printables.com/model/1147582-gridfinity-holder-for-zoerax-rj45rj11-cable-crimpe/files

@doragasu I've seen this (even before 1.0) if you have a ton of geometry that is based on that sketch. I opened your project, and it seems like you've several features on top of it. Unfortunately I couldn't verify it as it shows the Pocket006 with an error. Some of the sketches seem to have been misaligned as well. :(

@andi Are you using version 1.0? It opens just fine here with version 1.0.0. By the way, I had the problem even when editing the sketch for the first time (there were no steps after it). I can try creating a project only with the sketch to test.

@doragasu I was using master, just a bit ahead of 1.0. Can try again later tonight but it shouldn’t break old projects just like that 🤔

@andi I have created a new project with just an empty body and the sketch, and oh my this lags hard.

@andi Open this project, edit the sketch and try moving any point: https://cloud.doragasu.com/index.php/s/CBtkKToiJfnZAPW
Doing that was always slow, but in this version it is just unbearable.

@andi Tried moving the highlighted point, FreeCAD froze with 100% CPU usage for a whopping 7 minute and 20 second interval! (on an i7-1165G7)

@doragasu It wasn't great but it wasn't dog slow either. I tried playing with the solver settings but that didn't bring up any conclusion.
This is on a AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D which started to become audible for a brief second when dragging around the knots.

@andi The 7950X3D is one hell of a CPU, but even with that CPU, the huge difference I can see is not justified. I think I'll wait until 1.1 hits Archlinux repos to see if it has improved, and if not, maybe I'll go to FreeCAD forums to see how to proceed.
Thanks for testing!
