Is it me, or the #Switch2 looks more like a "Switch Pro"? Bigger screen, magnetic joycons with mouse mode, and more power (that it looks like it will be no more than e.g. a Steam Deck according to Digital Foundry analysis of the leaked PCB). That's all. Is it me, or the Sketcher in #FreeCAD 1.0 has become way slower? So much that sometimes it's almost unbearable even on capable machines (a Ryzen 3700X in this case). For example, in my last #Gridfinity holder, while editing the sketch with the tool silhouette, trying to move point in the sketch, caused a several second (more than 5) freeze just in the Sketcher. And I have seen this in more designs. Been busy printing. I have used copperfill filament (from ColorFabb), so now I have to sand it for the copper to be exposed. I would like to also oxidize it, but I don't think the typical greenish patina growing on copper will suit the model well. Could a specific chemical substance produce a brownish patina on copper?

Currently, 95% of the massive #Steam library is playable on Linux (and if you try a game and it doesn't work, it's most likely because of an invasive kernel-mode anticheat). Who would have guessed this 10 years ago? Huge thanks to #ValveSoftware, #Wine, #DXVK, #VKD3D projects and everyone involved in this #OpenSource miracle!
