There are a dozen or so countries that are carefully monitoring and scrutinising the diplomatic movement of others to find an excuse to escalate conflict into militarised land grab. Wishful thinking has always been the excuse of dragging the ‘Leaders of the free world’ off their high horse - alleged of hypocrisy.

Direct involvement of USA will absolutely spark a massive chain reaction. Past leaders understood this, which is why most conflicts were by proxy.

Wondering when ‘National Security’ and AUS-US relationship will be debated in parliament, considering how much our politicians seem to care about ‘National Security’.

Or is there no problem here because there is no minority ethnic group involved?
