There was an announcement today about student loan forgiveness for severl groups of people, among them people with a permanent disability. I have one of those. What I'm not sure of is whether this is meant for people whose disability leaves them unable to work. Does anyone happen to have more information on this?

@alexhall I think it is the latter, especially given the statement that "you are unable to engage in any substantial gainful activity by reason of a medically determinable physical or mental impairment". I don't know if what you read came into effect yet though:
