@mcc i don't think our universe is known for particularly realistic, subtle or high-quality writing, so i expect that a real haunted object would look obviously suspicious and cliche'd

@kim @ArachnoCommunist yknow, i have a combi vcr/dvd player somewhere. genuinely the last time i used it was to play an unlabeled VHS tape that i found next to a bin on upper lewes road about ten years ago. and of course it was homemade gay spanking video with atrocious framing and lighting, what else would it have been
