My thoughts: Vigilantism hasnโt changed a thing except provoke grievance revenge on innocence. We need stronger sustained collective pressure on our democratic leaders. Also mandated pre-climate emergency info training in ethical/moral/science juxtaposition.

@carolleisa I see you and get it. History is filled with examples and innocents suffer.
However, I am watching the world collapse into a far right plutocracy for the last decade. No matter how criminal the strongman is, they always get away with it or consequences only come when the damage is done a thousandfold. Especially targeted to innocent or vulnerable people.
Warnings about upcoming populism, climate change were given before that. Lots of governments and disinformed voters heeded them, doubled down. Some have taken root and easily became totalitarian and are very difficult to get out from that state.
Though strong collective pressure is the preferred way, I am tired, wired and not opposed to see more of these vigilantes anymore. If that somehow helps to wake the people up and see how unjust our society actually is.

@McWabbit I get your rationale completely. Iโm a vulnerable. I met Reagan, wish a Luigi had been there for him, Kissinger, Ollie North, Meese, Bushes. few woke up, more pop up along with more guns.
Worked in PRC n Mex, saw an old woman look around, spit on Maoโs statue. Heard friends recount cultural revolution, in Mex witnessed apathetic scorn toward suffering indigenous, dead students, preteens whoring to earn for families. Took a feminist village to vote in Claudia. ยกViva!
