The sentencing does jack shit. Laws mean nothing to these monsters. It and especially the CONSEQUENCES only applies to the rest of you.

Look at who were imprisoned after January 6th, but who still walk around free and their investigations frustrated up until it is made irrelevant.

But going to be sentenced for hush money with no real meaningful punishment, now THAT will make a difference! /s 😒

Jail the motherfucker, throw away the key or don’t celebrate and brace for the fucking worst.

Or hope for more Luigis as the corrupted institutions enslaved to corporations will absolutely do nothing.

Just saw a guy virtue signaling people who make light out of the death of a #CEO of a predatory health insurance company.

"He had family, friends."

Needless to say that fool got blocked.

Millions of people who got their claims denied have suffered or lost their loved ones from insurer leeches. Premiums get raised every year without much consumer protection.

Police getting out of their way to try to find the shooter, while poor victims don't even get decent help or get laughed away.

So spare me the call for compassion towards a group if people whose sole purpose is to get filthy rich out of the backs of ordinary people. We have a lot more in common than any of those rich sociopaths, instead some chose to lick their boots.

And now I need to spend precious time to do my annual comparing of private health insurance premiums.

Because our own subsequent Dutch governments have been following the US example and breaking down our social healthcare for at least two decades in favor of privatization.

Hope that shooter will inspire positive actions and make healthcare publicly accessible again.

Al die speculaties over mogelijke coalities om tegenwicht te bieden tegen de PVV... Ik zie het niet.

Ons land is gewoonweg niet progressief. Al decennia niet geweest. Dus een linkse meerderheid is er niet. En de zogenaamde "centrum" partijen zijn dus niet "centrum". Maar radicaal rechts en niet vies van samenwerking met fascisten.

De NSC en VVD zijn bijvoorbeeld door de mand gevallen. Sommige VVD leden zullen wel hierover morren, maar tot dusver zien we helemaal geen crisis of een splitsing. De NSC kiezers keren massaal terug naar het CDA en de racisten naar PVV.

Dus het zal van erg, mogelijk naar iets minder erg worden. Maar ik had toch echt gehoopt dat na zoveel centrumrechtse kabinetten met zoveel afbraak aan onze voorzieningen om vooral de rijken nog rijker te maken, we eindelijk eens een ruk naar links zouden maken. Het is hoog tijd.
