Someone: do you know anyone who is interested in / has experience in [relevant topic]?

Me, who regularly has satisfying interactions with people in this field: I suddenly cannot remember anything about any human being ever.

(I really wish I did not suck so bad in this respect. I am very good at recalling numbers on command).

@solar_chase I'm sure there's a word for not being able to remember the names of people, but I can't remember what it is. I have a degree of aphantasia (lack of, or reduced "mind's eye" - ha! I remembered a word!), but I've no idea if that's connected.

There's also faceblindness, which means difficulty recognizing or recalling faces.

@solar_chase Same. So I maintain a personal list of "people to recommend" and whenever asked I have to look at that.
