Interesting the both OsmAnd+ and Google Maps were happy to guide me into this parking and hiking area. And both are throwing a hissy fit when trying to guide me out. No matter where too, nearby, north or south. Google want me to start my journey on the other side of the river. But OsmAnd+ wants me to somehow jump 70km, take a ferry, drive around Ibiza, take another ferry. Both apps and my Suunto watch gets GPS lock and shows me spot on, to where I am.

@woollypigs Looks like Osmand is prioritising boat travel with directions. So you have a custom profile set up for navigation? I see the truck icon is that an Osmand default one?

@jmbmkn @woollypigs
It looks like the Google issue may be due to the one-way streets at the lower left here - presumably at least one of those has the wrong direction. That seems to create an "island" you can drive into but not out of.
I can't reproduce this in OsmAnd, but I see you have updated OpenStreetMap data so I might not be using the same underlying data. Also I was using the car profile.

@alan @jmbmkn yes I and will be updating again later as I managed to get out of the "island" and saw it is a whole one way loop there. I got the car profile with added width, height and weight as I'm driving a motorhome.

@woollypigs @jmbmkn It's almost like OsmAnd is trying to avoid the bridges on the southern approaches to Valencia at all costs, to the extent of routing via ferry to get you into central Valencia by a different route. But I don't see anything in OSM data that would suggest size or weight restrictions in that zone to explain that.

@alan @jmbmkn I have just updated area, there is a road, single lane and 30km that is one way in Alboi. I didn't see any weight limits either, I have to look out for them as the MH is over 4t. I hope I did it correctly and people can now "escape" the area, once entered.

@woollypigs @jmbmkn There are quite a few max height restrictions around Valencia, I don't know if that could be relevant. The ones I spot-checked seemed fairly high though (5 metres or more).
I'm clutching at straws here, but it just doesn't seem that a small issue with one way streets would cause the extreme behaviour of routing via ferry.

@alan @jmbmkn MH is 3.1m I have set osmand limit to be 3.5m and we didn't have any issue of finding our way there, didn't feel like we were going around the houses, quite direct from north of Valencia
Thanks for you help, I'm not too worried, as I do check 2-3 maps and double check that there ain't any funny businesses on the route given to me, before any journey. (I don't know if I'm a one off for doing that :) )

@jmbmkn not fully as I've changed the car profile to fit our motorhome (height, width and weight) and I then changed icon. I will update the location a bit later.
